Welcome to The Riding School at Kismet Farms — one of Northern California’s premier horseback riding lesson programs for beginner through advanced riders. Located in the scenic Alhambra Valley of Martinez, California, our riding school is a branch of Kismet Farms horseback riding competition program, focused on the development and progression of riders.
We specialize in providing high-quality horseback riding lessons, horsemanship education, and support for riders ready to grow into confident, skilled equestrians. We aim to build and support riders through their equestrian careers by teaching foundational skills to progress abilities and goals. We seek to advance our students toward ownership and competition.

We believe that horsemanship is more than just riding — it’s a lifelong journey of learning, love, and partnership with horses. Our goal is to help riders of all ages and experience levels:

- Learn safe and effective riding techniques
- Understand horse care, handling, and stable management
- Progress toward personal goals — whether recreational riding or competition
We focus on foundational skills that lead to long-term success, not quick fixes. Riders leave our program feeling more confident and capable.
