The Riding School at Kismet Farms

By registering for summer camp with Kismet Farms Riding School, you agree to all terms and policies.

E-MAIL COMMUNICATIONS:

We use email as our primary means of communication for confirmations of registration, receipts, and general correspondence. Please check your email for updates prior to camp start as well as each evening during camp so that you know what your rider will need to bring the following day.

PAYMENT:

Space is not guaranteed until full payment has been settled.  If full payment is not received by May 1^st, the rider will be dropped from the roster and the $600 non-refundable deposit will not be returned.

CANCELLATION/TRANSFER/REFUND/MAKE-UP POLICY:

The $600 deposit per intended week of camp is NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE.  

Please note that considerable time and planning goes into creating a camp program and schedule.  For this reason, there will be no refunds given, no exceptions.  Registration fees are non-transferable between participants and may not be credited toward future lessons.  There will be no make-up days offered for missed camp days.  

If a camp is canceled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.

DISMISSAL FROM CAMP:

If a rider exhibits behavioral or safety problems that preclude other campers or themself from participating safely in a group, staff may dismiss the rider from continued participation in the camp. Parents/Guardians will be contacted and asked to pick up the rider as soon as possible. If a rider is dismissed for behavioral or safety reasons, no refund will be issued, no exceptions.

FEES FOR LATE PICK-UPS:

Please arrive on time to pick up your rider each day. Pick-Ups more than ten minutes after 3 PM are considered LATE PICK-UPS. All late pick-ups will be charged a $25 fee. An additional $10 fee will be charged for each five-minute block of time thereafter until your rider has been picked up. On-site staff does not have the authority to waive any fees.  These fees will need to be paid in full prior to the next day’s start of camp.

SIGNING IN AND OUT REQUIRED:

We require that parents/guardians sign their children into and out of camp daily with signatures and time. These records are used to monitor attendance and calculate any fees for late pick-up, so please make sure to enter information correctly and clearly. 

BARN SPEED LIMIT IS 5 MPH.

The speed limit into and out of the barn is 5 mph.  This includes the entire length of the driveway and within the parking lot.  Drivers will be given one warning of driving too quickly into or out of the barn.  Upon receiving a second notice of driving over 5 mph, it is at the discretion of the barn owner and management to disallow the driver back on property.
